Welcome to BunnyHugger's Burrow!

[Drawing of BunnyHugger]

Hello! [hop wiggle] I am BunnyHugger, an adorable (honestly -- they made me that way) white-and-black devilbunny doe. What, you ask, is a devilbunny? The answer to that question is best found by hopping over to the notorious Devilbunnies web page. The war between the humans and the devilbunnies is commented upon in the Livejournal community Devilbunnies and the newsgroup alt.devilbunnies, although things have been relatively quiet lately. Perhaps... too quiet [suspicious wiggle].

Pictures!

The picture on this page is by Benjamin Yackley. I think it's a good likeness. Want to see some more pictures? I have assembled quite a collection of drawings of me by various artists over at my Portrait Gallery. I also have a page with self portraits and one with drawings that I have done of other alt.devilbunnies denizens.

The Life and Times of BunnyHugger

Sometime late in '93 I had an experience which changed me forever -- and I believe I can say that without being guilty of overdramatization. While walking home from the computer lab at Earlham College, I was kidnapped by a group of devilbunny scientists and injected with a virus that transformed me into a bunny. After a course of brainwashing, I took my place in devilbunny society as the chief propagandist of EarlhamWarren.

For three years I helped them mislead suggestible humans [regretful wiggle], later escaping to MiamiWarren of Ohio with my psychiatrist, Dr. Flurry, when the other scientists who had kidnapped me decided that it was time to euthanize their guinea pig [angry twitch] [shiver]. Finally I had a nervous breakdown and lost most of my grip on reality. As a last-ditch attempt to cure me, Dr. Flurry tried to wipe my mind with electroshock, but instead, it caused me to remember that I had not, after all, joined the bunnies freely.

I escaped MiamiWarren with the help of some members of the squirrel resistance, and came to reside in a free-squirrel warren called FreeHome. What happened to me after that is something I am not ready to talk about, but I'm working on it. Want to know more? Then check out my story archive!
