Prospect St., William Haskins, undated

Here’s a nice William Haskins stamp from a driveway apron on the south side of Prospect between Clifford and Lathrop. Sadly, like all Haskins stamps I’ve found, it is undated. I haven’t yet been able to find anything out about this contractor, who has a smattering of stamps around the east side.

Lathrop St., Wm. Haskins, undated

I collected this pair of William Haskins stamps on my way to go vote at my polling place (the Pilgrim Congregational Church). Lansing had a city council and mayoral primary today. The stamps are in a pleasant little shady corridor on the south side of Prospect just east of Lathrop.

This is the eastern stamp of the pair.

Unfortunately I have yet to find a dated William Haskins stamp, though there are a fair number of them sprinkled around this area, and I still don’t know anything about the contractor.

This is the western stamp.
Impressive how much that ivy is spilling over the sidewalk, isn’t it?

Wm. Haskins Co., Lathrop St., Undated

I wish I could tell you more about this one, located on the west side of Lathrop Street between Kalamazoo and Prospect. The typeface and style reminds me of 1920s and 30s stamps I’ve seen, but as it isn’t dated there is no way to know. My attempts to find out any information about William Haskins have not produced any clues.
